Job Description

Overview:

Cracker Barrel is seeking a Sr. Manager, Investors Relations & Finance to join the Home Office. In addition to being accountable for creating and presenting a consistently applied message to the investment community on behalf of Cracker Barrel, this manager will support finance analytics and modeling needs.

Responsibility:

• Develop and prepare all aspects of the quarterly earnings process including the earnings press release, earnings call script and Q&A, manage the logistics for the webcast.
• Coordinate logistics and attendance at various investor conferences and roadshows.
• Advise the CFO, President and CEO on movements within the shareholder base, movements with the stock price and other relevant stock information.
• Lead engagement with shareholders throughout the year to keep them informed of company plans and build deeper relationships.
• Liaison directly with both the sell side and buy side analysts, developing strong relationships with the sell-side analysts that cover Cracker Barrel.
• Oversee Cracker Barrel Investor Relations website.
• Lead the Annual Report process, including writing the letter to the shareholders, creating all business pages, coordinating printing, and overseeing the ultimate delivery.
• Co-manage Annual Meetings of Shareholders with Corporate Governance team.
• Gather, analyze, and present data pertinent to the company’s operating and share price performance, its industry, competitors, and peers.
• Monitor industry reports, news articles and media commentaries.
• Maintain database of sell-side analyst models.
• Manage coverage of peers, maintaining a comprehensive benchmarking analysis and performing other strategic analyses as needed.
• Assistance in planning and execution of bi-annual Analyst and Investor Day including all logistics.
• Support finance analytics and modeling needs which may include responsibilities such as treasury, valuation modeling, or forecasting based upon candidate’s qualifications.

• Finance savvy: have strong financial acumen and be comfortable navigating financial statements.
• A communicator: capable of articulating a story in a clear, concise, and conversational manner.

• A relationship builder: proficient at building genuine relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of an organization.
• Quantitative: appreciate metrics and data and understand how they tell a story.
• A master planner: skilled at managing multiple priorities at one time and keeping track of deadlines without missing a step.
• Exhaustively meticulous: have an unrelenting attention to detail, leaving nothing to chance while understanding what deserves your immediate attention and what can wait until tomorrow or next week.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business/Finance/Accounting
• CFA and/or MBA
• 2 or more years of experience in Investor Relations
