About the Role:
We are looking for a world-class Accounting Associate to help manage a variety of bookkeeping/accounting and administrative tasks at Cozymeal.
The individual in this role is expected to be experienced enough to work remotely and independently with limited supervision.
This is a part-time employee role (20 hrs a week) with future full-time potential.
The role is open to all candidates across the US and we are looking to hire someone long-term and provide the individual with growth opportunities within the organization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to own and execute projects end-to-end, and doesn’t shy away from asking questions whenever something is not clear.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform monthly bank and credit card statement reconciliations.
Assist in processing accounts payable.
Help prepare the company’s tax filings File and track company receipts/subscriptions/registrations.
Assist in regular system audits.
Communicate with employees, vendors, and clients when issues arise.
Requirements Include:
3
years of experience working as a bookkeeper.
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in accounting, business or related field.
Advanced working knowledge of Quickbook Online and Excel Ability to utilize advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables and vlookups.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience preparing sales tax returns is a plus.
Hours:
Part-time (20 hrs/week) Location:
Houston, TX or anywhere in the US.
