Marketing Specialist
The Marketing Specialist role will assist in the implementation of commercial acquisition, cross-sell, upsell, and retention marketing programs, events and sponsorships for RapidScale product lines. Responsibilities include execution, analysis and reporting of initiatives, campaigns, events and lead generation tactics.
What You’ll Do
Works in collaboration with Product, Sales, and other teams to support marketing objectives, timelines, targeted customer segments and other goals.
Contributes to the development of marketing tactics, collateral, public relations, email marketing, digital/social marketing, web and other avenues.
Writes in a clear and concise manner to develop strategic messaging in the RapidScale and Cox Business brand voice.
Assists with day-to-day maintenance of campaign activities and reporting to meet business objectives and deadlines.
Develops local internal marketing activities to foster a positive office environment including sales enablement, incentives/contests, internal newsletters, office signage, etc. Including new hire updates/marketing onboarding/prep
Aides in the planning and logistics for customer and channel facing events/sponsorships as directed by leadership. Supports the planning and management of internal annual and other events or meetings.
Updates and maintains events master calendar; and may be required to travel and support events directly on-site.
Coordinates with creative production and other stakeholders to define and develop visually appealing and audience-specific designs and staging concepts.
Develops and maintains vendor relationships. Identifies opportunities for reducing costs.
Creates and maintains thorough documentation, performs data entry and works with various teams to identify, document and communicate marketing objectives.

Who You Are
Minimum
At least one of the following:
High school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience in Marketing, Business, or related field
BA/BS degree and up to 2 years of related experience
MS degree and up to 2 years of related experience
Requires strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple projects.
Strong analytical ability.
Some travel required.
Accuracy and attention to detail required.
Excellent motivational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability work effectively with teams throughout organization.
Preferred
Working knowledge of the Internet, telecommunications, cloud technologies
Working experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud
Working experience with Adobe Software (i.e.: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with Adobe or Google Analytics
Experience with Account Based Marketing
Fundamental knowledge of WordPress or other web hosting platforms
