The Digital Marketing Specialist position is is responsible for the day-to-day marketing department responsibilities, including building a strong social media presence on multiple platforms, graphic design, and fulfilling advertising requests.

• The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for maintaining the Coulee Bank brand in all communications, advertisements and collateral;
• developing creative assets for ads, social media and other projects; assist in marketing department projects, events, photo and video content creation;

and managing the promotional items for branches.

A Day in the Life of a Digital Marketing Specialist

Lead the bank’s social media communication strategy by developing, executing, and maintaining a program across all channels to stimulate traffic that enforces brand strategy.

Serve as administrator on all bank social media channels and bank website.

• Design copy for various marketing channels ensuring a consistent brand. These would include, but not limited to, social media, website, press releases, posters, print, direct mail, billboards and brochures.
• Develop, in coordination with department managers, specific campaigns for the various business lines of Coulee Bank : business banking, retail banking, mortgage, and wealth management.
• Design advertisements including posters, print, direct mail, billboards, and brochures.
• Promote the bank’s involvement in community activities.
• Help coordinate marketing events, including scheduling, set up, and working at company-sponsored events.
• Assist with managing the bank’s digital signage at branch locations.
• Manage and create content for the monthly external customer newsletter.
• Assist the mortgage department in utilizing Surefire email, social media page set up, and integration.
• Assist in updating the Marketing Vault pages on the bank’s internal SharePoint page.
• Schedule, coordinate and assist with photo and video shoots for bank advertising.
• Assist in coordinating webinars for informational events that support each of the Coulee Bank business lines : business banking, retail banking, mortgage, and wealth management.
• Manage the Coulee Bank website for updated content and work with other individuals to implement strategic plans for the website.
• Participate in product and market research and development, as needed.
• Monitor local bank competitors for product offerings, advertising strategies, pricing, etc.
• Review and record ad copies for compliance with advertising regulations.
• Support the bank sales function by providing exceptional service to internal and external customers of the bank.
• Manage the ordering of bank merchandise for events.
• Maintain professional technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and other events to enhance education in the marketing department.

Represent the bank at trade associations and bank-hosted meetings to promote products and services.

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of two plus years of prior marketing and content creation experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.

In addition, you are proficient with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, as well as most social media platforms, web design and content management systems, and Google Analytics.

Your written and oral communications skills are top notch and will help you in being a brand ambassador for Coulee Bank.

You are willing to travel to our various markets to support various customer and community events. You are a problem-solver that is not afraid to make a decision and are able to take initiative without being asked.
