Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Calculate regular rate of pay and apply adjustments Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely Review and correct payroll data prior to transmitting for processing Audit payroll reports for accuracy before check distribution Prepare and issue paychecks ‚ Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance contributions and other deductions Maintain working knowledge of evolving federal, state and local wage and hour regulations Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes and deductions Oversee accurate and timely period, quarterly and year-end filings Reconcile payroll related G/L accounts Process garnishments Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of experience in a payroll function Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations pertaining to compensation Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality Strong interpersonal communication skills Solid math skills including ability to compute rate, commissions, ratios and percentages Problem solving and analytical skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel Bilingual English/Spanish desirable #CSWEST Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Work Location: One locationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
