Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for the routine maintenance of accounts receivable calculations and records, including cash receipts, claims, overdue invoices, interest charges, refunds, and related items. Maintain vendor compliance and acceptable customer service levels.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Lien waiver research and completion
- Credit application underwriting
- Customer master changes
- Account discrepancy review
- Credit refund request submittals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Nature and Scope
- Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older
- Must pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicable
Education and Experience
HS Diploma or GED, strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer service and/or credit experience preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel is a must.
- Must be an effective communicator (verbal and written) with exceptional phone skills and attention to detail.
- Experience desired but not required in process improvement.
- Support team within multi-functions of the department
- Identify and help slimline current processes.
