Are you a highly driven finance professional looking to work with a well- established power platform firm focused on utility scale wind, solar and natural gas projects, supporting a capital markets team?

Do you have at least 4-6 years of experience in IPP, Investment Banking, Consulting, Project Finance, or Asset Management within power and utilities, with a focus on financial modeling and valuation?

The role:

Within this role you will work on a wide variety of corporate finance initiatives with a well established firm who focuses on renewable energy power within the Utility Scale sector. You will act as the lead person owning the development and maintenance of strategic long-term corporate models and related valuation models across the companies energy portfolio (wind, solar, gas and battery storage assets). The role is a a high profile position that will provide exposure to corporate finance and project finance, while interacting with the C-suit and board directly to support the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a lead that owns, develops and maintains strategic long-term corporate models and valuation models across the companies portfolio of wind, solar, gas and battery storage assets.
• Work with internal and external teams and the sponsor to ensure accurate modeling assumptions and financial analysis.
• Develop internal memos and presentations that will focus on investment returns, valuation metrics, and sensitivity analysis.
• Presenting financial results to senior management, c-suit and shareholders.
• Provide analytical and modeling capabilities for companywide initiatives including asset sales, asset re-contracting, redevelopment, and other portfolio projects.

Essential Skills/ Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in IPP, investment banking, consulting, project finance, development, or asset management within power and utilities with a focus on valuation and financial modeling
• Excellent financial modeling skills and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in tax equity financing structures a plus.
• Bachelors degree – Finance or related studies.
