This role leads and manages the client finance function. The priorities of this role are to ensure the highest standard of professionalism in our business interactions with clients, and to drive finance activities that help to deliver on profitability goals. As a member of the Finance team the Client Finance Supervisor/Manager participates in and supports team workflow and initiatives that help to ensure quality of information and continuous improvement of the finance function overall. Position will have 3 direct reports. Will report directly to the Controller. Responsibilities
Maintain and develop client finance systems
Develop and ensure adherence of client finance policies and procedures
Train and onboard new employees on systems and procedures
Facilitate and support development of fee proposals, SOWs and MSAs
Setup new clients, credit review before terms provided to clients
Supervise client billing and reporting
Supervise AR reporting and collections
Monitor chargeability (Lost and Damaged) and conduct monthly reviews with department leads
Facilitate to ensure adherence to customer contractor agreements
Maintain revenue forecasts and prepare revenue reporting
Manages credit and collection activities such as following up with past due accounts, credit risk monitoring, new customer set up, regular customer credit evaluations and keeps track of cash receipts
Communicates effectively and maintains a professional relationship with external and internal customers
Successfully leads account receivable team and oversees the credit and cash management activities
