Growing private equity backed company is looking for a Manager of FP&A to add to their team. This person will report to the CFO.
Position Summary:
Responsibilities:
· Partner cross-functionally with leaders to understand critical initiatives.
· Lead the annual budget process with the functional leaders. Continuously communicate with them throughout the budget process to develop their revenue, staffing and expense operating plans.
· Complete monthly variance analyses for all functional areas and provide insight on spending levels versus plan and prior year.
· Lead the monthly forecast process with the functional leaders. Conduct regular meetings to ensure a high level of forecast accuracy based on the changing needs of the business.
· Actively communicate with the CFO if there are any significant variances expected in the forecast.
· Partner with department leaders to manage expenses by evaluating contracts and offering alternatives to keep expenses in line with targets.
· Continuously evaluate expenses across the functional areas to identify potential efficiencies.
· Assist in ROI calculations to evaluate real estate projects to ensure the return exceeds the costs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
· Experience and Knowledge
o A minimum of 5 years of experience in an FP&A role
Strong data modeling skills
Highly prefer someone that has worked for a private equity or venture capital backed company
o Direct experience in the finance/accounting function supporting multiple business units of a proprietary post-secondary education company.
o Experience with completing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts for multi-unit operations in a post-secondary education company.
o Comprehensive accounting and finance background that includes all aspects of the G/L, A/P, A/R, cash management, financial reporting.
o 3+ years of financial and operational interaction with senior management.
· Education
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA and/or CPA preferred.

o Strong accounting and financial analysis skills.
o PC proficiency and expert level MS Excel skills.

Pay: $140,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
