Are you a Sales Manager that can guide, lead, train, mentor and motivate the sales team, work seamlessly with other departments to reach dealership goals, as well as have an ability to make customers confident and comfortable during the sales process? If so, we are looking to add you to the team. The position will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential.
Responsibilities
· Works directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and help enhance the sales process
· Hires, trains, monitors the performance of all sales consultants
· Maintains training of the sales team to consistently increase their knowledge and ability to close sales successfully
· Monitor’s salesperson productivity and performance via daily one on ones
· Ensures the sales team are following up on all leads as well with previous customers to maximize opportunities
· Attends and monitors the product and sales training sessions by manufacturer representatives
· Ensures each unit on lot is presentable and ready for show, both new- and used-vehicles
· Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments
· Maintains a professional appearance
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Maintains high customer satisfaction standards
· Welcomes all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
· Ensures the sales team’s customers are filling out all appropriate paperwork
· Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership’s guidelines
Qualifications:
· Accountable and a “Can Do” attitude to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
· A superb work ethic
· Neat, clean, and professional appearance
· Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
· Proficient computer skills including MS office, computer software and internet proficiency
· Strong communication skills and ability to present information as well as think on their feet
· A track record of demonstrated ability to close sales
· Negotiation expertise
· 3 plus years as Sales Manager or higher supervisory role
· Must be a team player
