**Remote Opportunity within 100 miles of Chicago, IL – Travel to Customer Sites as Needed**
We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Solutions Manager to conduct SALES within the Chicago, IL region. The Injection Molding Solutions Manager is responsible for actively and aggressively promoting Our Company as the leading-edge supplier of mold bases, mold components, engineered product solutions, and molding technologies related to the injection molding industry. The Regional Sales Manager will be assigned a territory and will be responsible for all sales activities (including prospecting) within it.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing services and support to internal and external customers, suppliers
In this role, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible to ensure the growth and maintenance of the assigned territory. The incumbent will maintain an accurate record of all activities within the territory by compiling reports, statistics, and correspondence to the customer. The incumbent will contact and develop strong business relationships with new and existing customers, qualify sales leads to ensure customer satisfaction and sales growth. The Regional Sales Manager will interact with the support departments to ensure all customer needs are met.
The Regional Sales Manager is required to update Salesforce with all pertinent customer information.
Key resources: other people and/or capital and equipment
The Regional Sales Manager interacts with other team members to achieve retention of current customers as well as developing leads into new customers. The incumbent must develop the sales strategy for the assigned territory. The incumbent will be responsible for communicating to other team members and management when there is concern regarding an account. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible to manage expenses appropriately and submission of same in a timely manner.
Decision Making
Under minimal supervision, the incumbent of this role has completed the required training and acquired hands-on experience that will allow them to successfully interact with internal and external customers. Problem resolution with team members, on existing or future orders, must be accomplished independently with the appropriate follow-up to ensure a successful outcome. This includes the management of their daily workload.
