• FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Position Details:

• Supervise accounting assistant/bookkeeper; plan their work and assign tasks
• Oversee, review and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Oversee payroll with third party payroll company
• Administer the full accounts payable cycle to ensure all vendor invoices are processed in a timely manner
• Ensure timely completion of all month-end close procedures, including all necessary reconciliations, accruals and other adjustments
• Calculate expense accruals each month and prepare necessary journal entries
• Review monthly commission calculations
• Review and analyze financial data and create reports on financial status based on the analysis results
• Create timely and accurate accounting reports and present them to company’s partnership
• Develop recommendations to optimize company’s accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies
• Maintain the general ledger
• Provide firm’s accountant with reports and data for preparation of tax returns

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 or more years related experience (experience in a law office or professional office preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Tabs 3, or similar accounting programs
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
