Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Assistant provides administrative support to
Accountants and/or the Accounting Department by performing various clerical tasks, such as filing, mail handling,
making bank deposits and keeping bank records, handling invoices, tracking expenses for specific projects, and bookkeeping.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Handle general correspondence for Accounting Department.
Maintain general documents and information for individual homeowner accounts.
Manage Daily ACH Reviews and Set-up; process all ACH authorizations.
Post miscellaneous charges (ie., water/streetlight) to homeowner accounts.
Audit AP entries and review AP Invoices on a daily basis
Assist Accounts Payables with research regarding invoices.
Manage Daily Check Runs
Assist in preparing monthly and yearly reports as needed.
Follow all policies and procedures in place for the ‘checks and balances’ system.
Other Miscellaneous Tasks As Required.
Qualification/requirement:
At Least One Year Of Accounting Experience Is Required.
Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills
Works well in a diverse environment
Ability to work independently and/ as a team member.
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
