West Division Finance lead supporting the Division’s Technical Operations and Engineering functions. Acts as a positive catalyst for operational excellence, directs performance measurement and ensures an environment of financial integrity. Guides teams which influence across all levels of leadership, 6 Regions, and Headquarters. Drives financial accuracy and insight, operational improvement, functional strategy development, and business results. Partners across diverse business units to understand outcomes and care for end to end impacts of new strategies. Develops team vision and culture to best drive the team and the business forward.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Creates strong and collaborative relationships across Region, Division and HQ Tech Ops and Finance teams and among all levels of the organization.
Provides division-wide guidance and strategy for Tech Ops financials, ensuring accuracy as well as understanding of risks and opportunities
Guide ad-hoc strategy evaluation and modeling efforts by the team, with Regional buy-in
Partner across multiple functions, including capital, supply chain, sales and marketing, revenue, engineering, and comcast business to ensure mutual success
Exhibits personal and team leadership, leading and developing their teams, ensuring empowerment, career development and a positive employee experience
Delivers execution excellence, sound decision-making, and recommends improvements that drive the business forward and benefit the bottom line
Agile and adaptable, focusing on team growth as well as business disruption.
Core Responsibilities
Directs the preparation and review of monthly operating financial statements, forecasts, monthly variance analysis, external financial statements and budget data.
Reviews financial statements to ensure accuracy and integrity. Explains related variances to plan and forecast.
Analyzes all aspects of financial performance and provides recommendations for improvement.
Manages the business planning cycle for designated functional area(s) by directing the preparation of forecasts and budgets.
Directs the enactment of all Finance department policies and procedures and monitors for adherence.
Provides motivation, direction and leadership for Finance team and adheres to the policies and standards of the Company.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Bachelor’s Degree
