Coca-Cola Bottlers’ Sales and Services Looking for Accountant II at United States, Florida, Tampa Full Time

Accountant II performs general ledger accounting functions for Record-To-Report – Cash Team to reconcile/review route cash bank deposits, EDI/Lockbox, Disbursements and Concentration accounts and resolve discrepancies for the Regions/functional areas

• Prepare and analyze complex account reconciliation related to SWIPE activity with several campus providers like CBORD, Cardsmith, Blackboard and other acquirers to determine issues and work with appropriate teams to solve issues
• Reconcile and analyze different types of bank reconciliations with SAP clearing function for reconciliations such as Customer Payment portal, Accounts Payable disbursements and Lockbox accounts and resolve issues with appropriate teams with the Bottler, BSNA, Banks or First Data
• Reconcile and analyze Driver Route Cash related to cash, currency, checks and credit deposits; identify and resolve shortages/overages; identify unusual trends or gaps in process and recommend/implement changes on processes
• Maintain ACH Debit authorization list and update ACH debit filter with Bottler as needed
• Serve as a Bank Administrator to create and update users for Bottler Bank Portal access
• Provide analytical support on account reconciliations monthly and quarterly reports for Bottler
• Assist with questions, research of items, ad hoc projects/reporting as needed by team or Bottler
• Assist with Audit requests
• Support the relationships with clients through adequate and timely communication
• Continually reviews, challenges, and changes accounting processes to develop “best in class” accounting organization
• Ensure timely and accurate financial data
• Ensures compliance with GAAP, Standard Accounting Manual, and other Company policies and procedures

• Knowledge of SAP clearing functionality, preferred
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel and word
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within account
• Demonstrated ability to handle diverse teams
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Flexibility to adjust work load and hours when necessary
• Work experience should include accounting, financial statement preparations, internal audit/controls, and account analysis and reconciliation

4 Year / Bachelors Degree in In Accounting

3 to 5 years of related experience with accounting and financial analysis
