City of Fort Wright (Full-Time) Administration Department
The City of Fort Wright is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual for the position of Full-Time Finance Clerk. The position reports directly to the City Administrator and is responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable of the City, participating in the efficient operation of the Administration Department, and rendering high quality service to our residents.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as, strong math, organizational and multi-tasking abilities and be customer service oriented. Ability to work independently is a must. He or She should also possess strong writing skills and be proficient in various technology to create word processing documents, databases, and spreadsheets.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
The successful candidate should possess minimally an Associate Degree (Bachelor preferred) from an accredited university in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, Public Administration, or another closely related field, supplemented by previous comparative work experience; OR any combination of training and experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities. Proficiency in Sage 50 software desired but not necessary. Must be able to obtain a CMC Certificate; Notary Public; NIMS/ICS Certificate; Passport Acceptance Certification; and be bondable (All necessary trainings provided).
Starting Range (DOQ) for the position is $46,161.65 to $62,082.29. Excellent benefit package provided, which currently includes the following:
