 is looking for DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

This position is responsible for the direction, planning and management of all financial operations of the City of

Coralville

and advises and makes recommendations to the City Administrator on all fiscal policy matters to maintain and enhance the financial health of the City.

As a Director of the Finance Department, this person will oversee personnel responsible for the treasury, accounts payable/receivables, utility billing, financial reporting, payroll, debt management, and procurement.

Graduation from an accredited college with major in accounting, finance or closely related field.

Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in public sector or municipality finance. Progressively responsible experience in managing and supervising and teams of employees.

Graduate degree from an accredited college with major in financial administration, accounting or closely related field preferred.

Salary Range: $119,000 – $154,875; plus benefits including Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield family health plan for just $35 per month!

Required: Must live within 23 air miles of the Coralville City Limits after hire. Must pass a post offer pre-employment physical and drug screen. Participation in a criminal records check; financial credit check; required
