The Manager FRR Change Management of Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for managing the impact of City National Bank’s (the “Bank”) various strategic projects within the Financial and Regulatory Reporting (FRR) department. The manager will represent FRR on Bank-wide projects/programs to ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met as well as managing business requirements and collaborating with LOBs and data management and strategy for regulatory reporting changes. Projects include implementation of commercial loan underwriting application (nCino), replacement of mortgage loan origination system (NetO), development of small business CCAR schedule, IHC transition to Category III.The role will report to the Manager of Financial and Regulatory Reporting and will work closely with key partners including report production teams, CNB IT, CNB ePMO, CNB/RBC EODC program, RBC Finance IT and RBC/IHC regulatory reporting.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Represent FRR on CNB enterprise projects/programs/system changes (implementations, upgrades, replacements etc.) which impact regulatory reporting
Manage impact of CNB enterprise projects/programs/system changes on FRR to ensure reporting and data requirements are understood and met by the programs
Collaborate with FRR colleagues to implement enterprise projects/programs/system changes impacting regulatory reporting
Manage material report/reporting changes, identifying new requirements, including needed data and data sources as well as coordinating delivery to meet regulatory timelines
Collaborate with FRR colleagues to review limitations and weaknesses to identify opportunities for improvements
Assist FRR colleagues with periodic review and update of reporting assumptions
Coordinate remediation of FRR’s material self-identified, internal audit and 2nd line of defense findings
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must-Have*
Bachelor’s Degree preferably Finance, Math/Statistics, Economics or Accounting, if unrelated field a Master’s degree in one of these areas
Minimum 15 years’ experience in finance related role
5 – 10 years’ experience in the banking or financial services industry
Familiarity with US regulatory reports (CCAR, FR Y-9C etc.)
Skills and Knowledge

Compensation
Starting base salary: $141,830 – $263,408 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
