Reporting to the Global Head of Proprietary Brands, within our Global Proprietary Brands team, the Global Support Manager will be responsible to support all data, analytics and reporting related to the Proprietary Brands Department needs. The role will also take on projects using core Retail Category Management principles. The role will engage with various work groups internally and externally in daily work, follow up projects and timeline progress, track performance, deliver forecasting, facilitate business case modeling, analyze performance and present conclusions and recommendations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Financial reporting, tracking and analytics using advanced Excel, other Microsoft tools, Power BI and Nielsen data platforms, providing sound conclusions from data formatted in a straightforward way to present to key stakeholders
Perform comprehensive cost, retail and margin and other various retail and Private Brands KPI analysis determining if benchmarks are met and where opportunities lie
Use the core principles of Category Management and Proprietary Brands to guide decision making and recommendations
Manage and execute assigned projects with quality, accuracy and within allotted timelines
Collaborate, communicate and work with others to accomplish team and company goals effectively
Field of study: Business, Marketing, or Finance/Accounting
Level of study: College graduate or beyond
Level of English required: Fluent in English (oral & written)
Level of French: Bilingual preferred but not required
General understanding of retail business
Strong competence in working with merchandising and marketing data such as sales, margin, units and various other metrics
Strong competence in key software platforms such as Microsoft suite of business tools (Advanced – Excel, Access, PPT, Word, SmartSheet, etc); Power BI, SQL and Azure
Team player, service oriented, good at influencing and motivating others
Well spoken/written, structured, organized, accurate, attention to detail, high capacity, expedient, adaptable to changing needs in a fast paced environment
Proactive, forward-thinker, self-managed, able to prioritize and meet deadlines consistently
