The Corporate Accounts Receivable department is currently seeking representatives to provide payment processing and transactional support to our direct bill accounting teams.
Starting salary: $35,360 – $41,600; depending on knowledge and skills
Hours: 8:00am – 4:45pm
Be ready to:
- apply payments to insurance policies and accounts
- complete transactional requests from multiple billing departments
- learn receivables processes for multiple billing applications
- process and mail refunds
- enter and verify bank account information
- process returned payments
- prepare journal entries and check requests
- process lockbox payment exceptions and accompanying correspondence
- research payments
- answer phone calls
- file documents
- assist with other AR tasks as required
- work overtime as needed
Qualification:
Be equipped with:
- an attitude for excellence in customer service
- the ability to process work accurately and efficiently
- the ability to analyze and solve problems
- proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- research skills
- the ability to learn new tasks and new software quickly
- the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- the ability to meet daily deadlines
You’ve earned:
- high school diploma or GED
- banking experience preferred
- previous accounts receivable experience preferred
