The Cigna Integrated Medical Pharmacy Finance Team is looking for a Project Manager to support the various work efforts and initiatives in the area. The role will report to Cigna’s Integrated Medical Business Finance Officer but will support efforts in across all teams – FP&A, Pharmacy Economics, and Pharmacy Operations. This will be a highly collaborative role.
Core Responsibilities
Develops and maintains integrated work plans, monitoring progress against goals
Manages Leadership meetings; including agenda setting, meeting facilitation, and action item resolution
Develops and maintains cross-functional, matrixed relationships with business and IT to ensure that appropriate action is taken to identify and implement initiatives
Develops understanding of complex subject matter to provide proactive identification of opportunities and issues that could financially impact Cigna
Timely escalates barriers to success along with identification of potential solutions, and provides concise and timely reporting tailored to appropriate stakeholder audience
Resolves issues and determines contingency plans and triggers for risks
Develops and implements communication and reporting mechanisms to maintain sponsor engagement and promote stakeholder adoption
Acts as connection point between the Pharmacy Finance teams as well as other Pharmacy stakeholder groups (Product, Pricing, Underwriting, GTM, Supply Chain, Clinical, Rebate Billing, etc) and Cigna key support areas like Accounting and Legal.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field preferred, or MBA
5+ years of experience in Pharmacy and/or Finance
Project Management experience
Pharmacy knowledge a plus but not required
Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
Ability to transform various developments and actions into a synthesized set of business updates and strategies for a senior-level audience
Ability to foster collaboration in a heavily matrixed environment
Ability to prioritize and juggle work-group initiatives with flexibility
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $102,800 – $171,400, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
