The Benefits Analyst will have the following responsibilities
Perform daily administration of employee benefits programs in the US including:
Medical (including prescription)
Wellness
Dental
Vision
Life insurance and Accidental death
Flexible spending
Health Savings Accounts/Health Reimbursement Accounts
Voluntary products
COBRA
Retiree healthcare
Board of Director benefit offerings
Provide occasional support on global benefits and ex-pat benefit packages as needed
Assist employees with benefits related questions or issues
Coordinates with HR Operations and payroll on day to day benefit issues and appeals
Participates in weekly service calls
Act as a liaison with all vendors and outsourcing partners
Assist in preparation and rollout of annual open enrollment and benefit changes
Complete benefits related surveys and data requests
Ongoing support to the benefits team
Monitor benefit trends in the business environment and stays abreast of applicable benefits legislation
Responsible for all regulatory filings (SPDs and 5500) and vendor performance tracking
Communications:
Prepare and maintain accurate employee communications, pertaining to current benefit plans, open enrollment, changes and additions
Assist with all-employee benefits presentations, webinars and new employee benefits orientation as needed
Ensure proper communication of benefit information on the company’s intranet and external marketing for new hires/perspective candidates
Responsible for partnering with internal/external communication resources to develop and deliver an effective communications that assist in employee engagement
Qualifications Needed:
Excellent oral and written communication with demonstrated presentation/facilitation skills, accuracy and thoroughness, emphasizing attention to detail. Expertise in Excel, Word and Power Point required
Demonstrated customer service orientation with ability to provide service and remain focused even during emotionally charged circumstances
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise good judgment
Proactive team member with attention to detail and follow through
Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work independently
Uses time efficiently to meet deadlines with demonstrated ability to adapt to change while consistently meeting deadlines
Knowledgeable in building benefit programs for HRIS system
Strong working knowledge of current benefit practices and trends
At least five years of experience with Benefit Plans, laws, and regulations (including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.).
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $65,500 – $109,100, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
