Overview of Position
The Accountant 1 position is an office-based position with the possibility of working remotely a couple of days each week if business needs permit. The Accountant 1 is responsible for client and management company cash management, financial statement preparation, payroll, general ledger account reconciling and balancing, deposit and accounts payable monitoring for proper account number, appropriate approvals, and accurate recording to the general ledger.

What are the requirements needed for the position?
The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi task, excellent MS Office software skills, and the ability to problem solve. The Accountant must be detail oriented and organized. MS Access experience is highly preferred but not required. The minimum education is a BS/BA in business, accounting or finance. The minimum experience is 0-2 years of basic accounting or office clerical work. Medical office background is helpful.
