Cella is looking to fill an entry to mid level Marketing and Public Relations Specialist role for one of our clients in the social science and statistical industries.
In this role you would assist the marketing team with a variety of administrative and creative tasks, including website administration and SEO tasks, social media post writing and management, and assistance with coordinating events.
This is a hands-on position that combines planning, writing, editing, and a creative approach.
The ideal candidate works well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.This is a full-time, remote one year contract with potential to convert to full-time.Responsibilities: Assist in outreach, coordination, and upload for corporate website content (staff bios, images, features, projects.)
Coordinate with graphics and UX staff to find staff headshots and appropriate topical images; ensure they are sized correctly and upload to website.
Create meta tags (title tags, meta descriptions) and apply to website content; provide UX staff keyword-based image file names for best SEO.
Write social media posts based on news and features and work with graphics staff to create imagery/photos.
Ensure consistent framing of messages. Work in partnership with graphics and document production teams to ensure materials are polished, professional, and consistent with brand.

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years of web administration, social media management, writing, and editing experience.
Experience with content management systems (i.e., Drupal, WordPress), management platforms for social media, and project management software.
Experience supporting content marketing for a diverse organization is a plus.
Ability to work with teams of staff at all levels and collaborate.
