About the role
As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will apply basic cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a portfolio of clients and properties. As a part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function and will be maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
What you’ll do
Complete accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packages.
Create and post journal entries and ensure that all expenses, receipts, owner’s distributions, funding requests, and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately posted.
Use aggregate data from several sources to generate reports.
Generate financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting.
Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendors.
Understand and work with scenario planning (exit/maintain/grow) tools/models, while analyzing trends in general business conditions.
Respond to and resolve issues and requests from teams and clients regarding various accounting matters and reports.
Research open accounting issues and recognize potential issues and disputes so corrective action can intercept and minimize issues.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Set a precedent and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Impact the quality of own work.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet target time.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. 2
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
Must be able to work PST time zone.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Finance Analyst position is $75K annually and the maximum salary is $90K annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
