Senior Director of Finance
Caterpillar’s Retail Electric Power Solutions (REPS) team seeks a Senior Director of Finance in Irving, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial leader who wants to be challenged, while being directly involved with the growing electric power business and energy transition. The position is a key member of the REPS leadership team and leads the global REPS Business Resources teams.
Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Managing all aspects of accounting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis, and demand & order management for the REPS Business.
Providing accounting and finance support for the Energy Transition Commercial Solutions Organization.
Participating in strategy development and execution to drive improved financial, commercial, and operational performance.
Providing business analysis support by establishing target costs, cost monitoring, new product introductions, investment analysis, sourcing studies, alternative business models.
Developing pricing analysis and evaluating business scenarios of various pricing strategies including predictions of competitive reactions.
Leading and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, procedures, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Providing business guidance to the REPS VP and Electric Power Division CFO.
Developing and leading a world-wide team of 20-25 finance professionals supporting the business.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree within Accounting, Finance, or related field.
13+ years of financial experience, preferably within a large and/or multinational corporation.
Strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity.
Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Legal Entity and Management (Accountable) reporting.
Initiative, leadership, good judgement, effective organization skills, and accountability.
Ability to resolve issues independently.
Additional Details:
Location: Irving, TX.
Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify.
10-15% travel is expected.
