Nature and Scope of position Perform daily, weekly and monthly recurring accounting activities Responsible for daily journal entries, G/L review and daily balancing Perform monthly reconciliation on all G/L accounts Prepare routine financial reports Assist with the preparation of monthly Call Reports Assist with Quarter-end and Year-end closing activities Qualifications 2 year accounting degree required; bachelor’s in accounting or finance preferred 2-3 years of similar experience Strong MS Excel skills Credit union or banking experience preferred About Lion’s Share Federal Credit Union Lion’s Share Federal Credit Union was established in 1982 as Food Lion Credit Association CU, and changed its name to Lion’s Share Federal Credit Union in 2007.
