Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Southwest Houston area
Pay: $80-90K, Major Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life, STD, LTD
Hours: M-F
Duration: Direct Hire
Description of Duties: Production Manager position is now available in the Southwest Houston area! In order to successfully apply for this role, you should be comfortable with the following job duties: Implement safety policies consistent with the company’s general policies and any production specific policies. Help resolve personnel issues as needed. Work closely with the sales department to understand customers’ requirements, resolve customer issues and plan for future workload. Develop and maintain systems to gather non-conformance data. Work with Operations and Sales departments to resolve any non-conformances and execute effective corrective action to prevent reoccurrence. Oversee production schedules to ensure that customer delivery requirements are met. Meet with Sales and Operation personnel on various projects and initiatives. Oversee work processes to ensure that internal and external quality standards are followed. Schedule staff to ensure appropriate supervision of all duties in each value stream. Provide employee training.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong technical knowledge preferred. Minimum three years supervisory experience in related or similar industry. Experience with Microsoft Office and other production software. Strong employee management skills including: providing regular performance feedback; developing subordinates’ skills; encouraging growth; making self available to staff; making decisions. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate with a cross section of other employees and customers. Strong customer service skills including the ability to develop rapport and trust with other employees and customers. Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
