Senior Manager, SaaS Sales Technology – Capital One Software (Remote-Eligible)

Through this journey, we’ve developed a suite of internal solutions uniquely designed to meet the challenges of a digital-first, cloud-first business at scale. The Capital One Software team is exploring how these internal solutions across cloud, data, governance, and applications could serve the needs of other companies born or built in the cloud.
As Senior Manager of Software Sales Technology, you will be a strategic leader within the Go To Market Operations team. You will lead the architecture and roadmap for Salesforce and other sales technology to enable sellers and accelerate the sales process. You will be responsible for the evaluation, execution, and implementation of new technology in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. Responsibilities of this role may include:
Creating and maintaining Salesforce architecture and roadmap
Partner with business leads and end-users to solicit, analyze, negotiate and document business requirements as user stories
Formulate and define overall system scope and objectives based on thorough understanding of business process and problems
Driving process improvements using Salesforce CRM and other technologies
Maintaining a healthy backlog and regularly prioritizing backlog as business evolves
Removing impediments using a strong problem-solving approach – knowing when to escalate
Designing and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness of capabilities and features
Providing subject matter expertise on business processes
Build strong relationships with business groups that provide requirements or act as stakeholders
Identify and address cross-project and cross-team dependencies and impacts
Identify risks/issues in a timely manner and appropriately mitigate/escalate
Develop configuration-type Salesforce changes (e.g. build reports, fields, layouts, data security, chatter, workflow/process builder, validation rules, assignment rules)
Collaborate with QA to drive the right test scenarios and testing success of user stories
Provide Production support during releases, resolving end-user issues and questions

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in systems integration
At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce.com
At least 2 years of experience with requirements gathering
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
6+ years of experience in systems integration
3+ years of experience with Salesforce.com
2+ years of experience with Agile methodology
2+ years of experience with people leadership
2+ years of experience in either Sales or Sales Operations
