Position SummaryThe E-commerce Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the E-commerce roadmap from conception to implementation.
This position will serve as the US contact and align with our global counterparts to maintain synergies and communication.
This is a hands-on role, and will require technical development and leadership.
The position will also require the ability to manage a diverse set of objectives and communicate with not only our global counterparts, but also all business units such as digital, marketing, supply chain, finance, and customer service.
The E-commerce Operations Manager will lead a team of direct reports to help accomplish these objectives.
Thus, the role will also be responsible for the professional development and performance management of this team.
Summary of Roles and Responsibilities Recommend improvement on existing Salesforce E-Commerce implementations Provide weekly website analytics and customer service reporting Prepare make or buy decisions for new features Design and approve new internal business processes to align with the Salesforce roadmap Business and technical lead for Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementations and customizations Deliver complex projects in a fast-paced, team environment Lead and assist pursuits and Practice Development initiatives Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in Salesforce’s newest and future solutions Track and manage all site projects; liaise with engineers, developers, and ERP team for changes, fixes, updates, and enhancements to the site.
Create tickets and resolve site technology issues faced by customers Monitoring the competitive landscape and implementing new initiatives and ways to stay ahead Manage and oversee remote teams Manage budgets, including monitoring and controlling costs on projects Track and report on ecommerce KPIs including revenue, downtime, You continuously analyze our business requirements and are responsible for translating them into intelligent, stable and scalable technical solutions Coordinate with vendors, system engineers and application team Maintain pricing integrity and accuracy in accordance with sales promotions and pricing strategy.
Interface with global E-commerce team to learn and share results and experiences.
Education, Experience, and Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesMinimum Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or other related field.
Equivalent work experience would be considered.

years of professional experience in an e-commerce or direct selling company or agency At least 3
years leadership experience At least 3
years hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud At least 3
years of experience in project management At least 3
years of developing Salesforce B2C eCommerce solutions Technical knowledge, especially in the areas of eCommerce, Salesforce, integration and DevOps Understanding of exchange formats like XML, JSON, CSV Experience with interfaces (SOAP, Rest) Very good and comprehensive technical knowledge, especially in the areas of eCommerce, Salesforce, integration and DevOps Knowledge and ability to write, test, and debug application programming interfaces (APIs) Experience with digital sales/service processes or a complex shop system Familiar with design patterns, such as B.
MVC or MVVM Forecast, control and monitoring of team and project budgets Proven work experience leading the delivery of key aspects of projects within the area of Salesforce Worked in a Scrum, Agile environment Must demonstrate flexibility, the ability to multi-task and collaborate with a variety of team members.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud is a plus Salesforce certification is a plus.

Solid work ethic and can do attitude is a must Detail orientated Investigative Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting scheduled deadlines.
