Overview:

Finance Management- Controller- Financial Modeling & Planning – Finance Forecasting

The Finance Director will oversee 8 different departments over three states, and 9 direct reports, and work collaboratively to ensure the complete and accurate accounting and reporting of financial data for multiple entities for a fast-growing cannabis company based in California.

Pay: $200,000 – $250,000

Location: Desert Hot Springs, CA (ONSITE)

Duties:

• Establishing and building cooperative working relationships with a cross-functional team
• Manage the cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
• Oversee the creation of comprehensive financial modeling to evaluate business opportunities
• Establishing, communicating and constantly refining financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
• Hands-on partner to Finance Team for business planning, financial forecasting, budgets, and management reporting activities

• Participate in the review of quarterly financial statements.
• Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems with the goal of maximum utility to other executive team and departmental leaders

• Assessing and optimizing financial processes and controls
• Oversee preparation and/or independently prepare various schedules, including standalone entity financial statements, in support of any audit.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Finance or related

• 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, budgeting & forecasting, capital, and financial policy experience
• Possess strong financial acumen, business evaluation, and financial modeling skills for business growth opportunities, ideally developed in investment banking or private equity.
• Manufacturing, agricultural, distribution, or consumer packaged goods experience is preferred
• Experience supervising finance staff preferred

Pay: $200,000.00 – $250,000.00 per year
