Campbells Looking for Accounts Payable Analyst (remote eligible) at Camden, New Jersey Full Time

General Summary

This role is responsible for the invoice exceptions workflow to ensure the timely processing of invoices. Exception resolution requires strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills with procurement and directly with vendors. The role is also responsible for managing the early payment workflow to ensure that proper approvals are received in scenarios where Campbell must make payments prior to original due dates. Scope of the role is Total company (all divisions). This role has regular interactions with various levels of management throughout the Campbell organization while meeting internal customer needs. The role reports into the Accounts Payable Manager and is also the escalation point for several offshore resources.

Principal Accountabilities

• Responsible for the invoice exceptions workflow with a focus on root causing issues, training offshore resources and keeping the aging trend low. Root cause analysis should include implementation of process improvements
• Responsible for the early payment workflow with a focus on ensuring proper approvals and resolving urgent payment requests timely
• Responsible for unique payment scenarios (i.e. our growers which are very seasonal)
• Review and resolve any vendor invoices or checks mailed directly to World Headquarters. This requires identifying the business owner and ensure that the correct accounting is applied
• Escalation point for the vendor invoice hotline and urgent internal payment inquires. This role requires internal and external stakeholder management, including educating parties on Campbell policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of relevant accounts payable experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree with 0 experience (experience preferred)

Knowledge, skills and abilities required

• Proficient in SAP accounts payable modules and processes
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Adept at partnering with offshore resources, including SLA/metric management
• Customer service oriented with strong communication skills and a willingness to work with many different stakeholders
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Knowledge and skills that are a plus

• Project manager experience
• Systems integration experience
• Working knowledge of Power BI
• this position will support a full remote schedule
