Duties and
Responsibilities:
Process accounts and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payables data
Track bank account balances
Payroll services such as processing checks and submitting payroll taxes, keep track of employee’s hours and days off
Oversee the employee’s retirement plan contributions, loans and make sure distributions are entered and paid in a timely manner.
Oversee the Company’s multiple forms of insurances and make sure they are entered and paid in a timely manner
Prepares/files monthly multi-state sales tax returns
Overseeing and paying employee’s commissions
Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
Work with accountant as relates to monthly/quarterly/annual journal/adjusting entries
Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
Skills:
Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour
