The Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) (AAI) is responsible for managing the service credit purchase/redeposits billing (Billings) functions. The AAI serves as a liaison between the Billings Unit and CalSTRS’ management and operational staff; and its members, retirees, unions, school districts, and other state agencies. This position is fully responsible for directing, planning, organizing, and monitoring the work of analytical and semiprofessional staff in the Billings unit.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Business related degree
- Experience working for large pension system
- Experience managing a broad range of staff
- Experience with conversion and implementation of new systems
- Experience with prioritizing competing workload
Every 12 months, based on performance evaluation, employees may receive a 5% salary increase until they reach the maximum salary for the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $6,563.00 – $8,153.00 per month
