We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller or Assistance Finance Manager for our non-profit client, located near Laconia, NH. This position has potential to advance rapidly.
Responsible for day-to-day operations, accounting and financial analysis, reporting, variance analysis; assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month and year end closings, financial statement preparation, auditing, reporting and budgeting.
Must have outstanding communication, analytical, strategic, organizational and computer skills (advanced MS Office and Accounting software). Must be able to manage, motivate and mentor staff while managing multiple priorities. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required with a minimum of five years of related, hands-on accounting work experience. MBA or CPA is a plus. Experience in non-profit, property management or housing is a strong plus.
