Overview:
Manages and oversees the daily work of all the accounting activities to ensure compliance with accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits. This person will manage the accounts payable functions, monthly closing of accounts and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements.
Essential Functions:
Will report and work closely with the CFO. Will also work closely with other senior members of the company. This position will supervise at least 5 accounting positions. Will be responsible for analysis and reconciliation of accounts and developing and implementing of accounting policies, produces and controls and the willingness to roll up his/her sleeves.
Strong leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting background and work proactively to drive results. Self-starter, flexible with a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
