Production Manager

Position Summary
The Production Manager will provide leadership, supervision, expertise, and support to ensure the operation meets customer expectations, as well as other key performance metrics. He/she will support the development and implementation of initiatives to improve safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity while driving down cost within the operation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to assigned departments to achieve all goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
- Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the production in assigned departments
- Develop methods and procedures to ensure manufacturing satisfies customer demand
- Ensure workforce resources are adequate to meet the organization’s production schedule
- Evaluate production and determine ways to improve efficiency while ensuring the achievement of quality standards
- Define and drive standardized work throughout manufacturing
- Assist in implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or related field
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of textile manufacturing experience.
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and productivity projects
- Ability to articulate a vision and manufacturing strategy
