Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Staff Accountant in the Oil & Gas Industry, to join our growing team!
Role Summary:
The Staff Accountant, BMS role is responsible for supporting the accounting functions for the Buckeye Merchant Services (BMS) segment, a wholesale distributor of refined petroleum products in the continental United States and in the Caribbean, which includes inventory accounting, revenue margin accounting, operating expenses, and other general ledger accounting activities. The role will require preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, detailed variance analysis, as well as performing inter-company accounting, supporting the monthly close process, and working alongside both front and middle office groups. The Staff Accountant will report to the Division Controller of BMS.
