About The Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic partner reporting to the Chief Executive Office. The CFO will be responsible for strategically and operationally managing and safeguarding the assets of the Company. The CFO will lead and enhance the organization’s finance operations, including people, processes, and systems in support of its’ mission and performance. H/She will lead all financial administration, including but not limited to accounting, finance, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
· Serve as strategic finance leader and business partner, working closely with the CEO, Executive Team and Board.
· Maintain executive responsibility for financial operations including working capital, capital expenditures, banking, accounting, audits, tax and pricing.
· Manage processes for financial forecasting and budgeting.
· Ensure that revenue streams are budgeted, monitored, and tracked by creating and regularly reconciling annual business plans with primary revenue generators.
· Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses, in both quantitative and qualitative terms, to the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.
· Manage relationships and communications with financial institutions, external auditors, and other stakeholders. Oversee the production of financial statements, tax documents, and other financial regulatory documents.
· Define the financial strategy and provide useful financial insights to help make the best decisions about executing our business strategy.
· Maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures and ensure cash resources are available for daily operations.
· Oversee all financial and operational controls and metrics within the organization.
· Analyze business operations to identify areas to improve financial effectiveness.
· Identify risks to the company early and work with the Leadership Team to develop risk mitigation strategies.
· Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
· Provide strategic oversight of vendors & contracts to ensure adequate systems are in place to monitor the individual requirements of various contracts.
· Develop and manage the finance team, processes, and systems to optimize performance.
· Lead, attract, manage, and motivate, develop, and retain a high performing finance team.
· Create a work culture that values teamwork, accountability, and outstanding customer service.
· Oversee management of financial systems, including periodic update, enhancement, or replacement of such systems.
· Develops and maintains strong business partner relationships across the Organization.
Essential Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
· CPA license.
· 15+ years in financial leadership roles.
· 3+ years in a CFO role at a medium sized company preferred.
· Able to make critical decisions in the absence of complete data.
· Thrive on the intellectual rigor of difficult situations that require complex solutions.
· Highly collaborative, communicate well, manage up and down and across.
