Finance
Firestone Industrial Products (FSIP) is a global manufacturer of air suspension solutions with operations in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The Senior Finance Manager – NA Operations is responsible for supporting the manufacturing, logistics, procurement, quality, and IT functions for FSIP’s North America operations. This role will be a direct partner to FSIP’s VP of Operations in support of the company’s manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Costa Rica. The position reports to FSIP’s global Finance Director.
Manages team of >12 (4 direct) in the U.S. and Costa Rica, including 3 Finance Managers and 4 Financial Analysts as well as Logistics and Procurement teammates
Leads manufacturing reporting for monthly closing, monthly forecast, and annual budget processes, including standard costing and refining story for global results from all 6 plants
Controls strategic investments of >$60M to expand manufacturing and warehousing capabilities at all 3 North America plants – Williamsburg (KY), Dyersburg (TN), and Turrialba (Costa Rica)
Leads the Consumer OE quoting process, including business case analysis to support appropriate returns on capital investments and alignment with FSIP’s long-term strategic direction
Serves as Finance’s voting member on cross-functional Change Advisory Board that controls approval for all projects resulting in new part numbers from existing business
Coordinates internal audits, external audits, physical inventory counts, and policy/procedure updates while maintaining a strong internal control environment
Serves as key SAP administrator for access, approvals, and control activities
Monitors transfer pricing and tax regulations for compliance with the Free Trade Zone regime in Costa Rica, which is set up as an export only entity as part of local tax incentive agreements
Supports and/or leads cross-functional projects on an ad hoc basis
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
MBA or related graduate degree and relevant certifications (e.g. CPA, CMA) preferred
8+ years of progressive, relevant Finance experience
Strong background in cost accounting and understanding of impact to broader organization
Knowledge of SAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills required
Fluent in English required, secondary languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Polish) preferred
Communicates and leads change through influence with international finance and operations teams spanning different geographies, cultures, and languages
Ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues, particularly for non-Finance and leadership level teammates
