ROLE SYNOPSIS
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to drive performance as well as provide innovative ground-breaking ideas to further improve and transform our mobility and convenience business!
We have convenience/retail operations across five different businesses (East Coast, Branded Marketer, ARCO/ampm, Thorntons, and Mexico Retail) across the US and Mexico. Our portfolio of 8,000+ sites serve ~3.5 million customers every day!
We want to reinvent convenience and mobility in the US and Mexico by delivering compelling fuel and convenience offers for our customers. We’ll do this by continuing to deliver high quality fuel and store offerings while innovating Digital tools to provide customers with a more seamless site experience. We will invest in both our existing and new sites to deliver growth.
We support bp’s ambition to become a net zero company by 2050 or sooner! We will drive business value through aligning future mobility and solutions (FM&S) and customer value proposition and experience (CVP&E), whilst bringing to bear the sophisticated fuels’ expertise housed in fuel supply and midstream (FS&M).
The Senior Finance Manager PPM – Americas leads a team of finance managers and their analysts located across Americas (US and Mexico) driving business value by providing performance insights and supporting the business delivery of the financial plan. This role partners with key stakeholder across the Mobility & Convenience (M&C) business in Americas including the SVP of M&C Americas and Finance VP and their leadership teams, business teams, and digital to provide insight and drive performance. This role also contributes to the transformation of PPM processes as part of bp re-invent.

Compliance – efficiently delivering external reporting requirements to ensure we continue to meet our regulatory obligations in all jurisdictions, supported by robust control environment across all three lines of defence.
Stewardship – laying out a robust finance framework and providing ongoing management of the balance sheet and portfolio execution, supported by effective advocacy to the market.
Performance – facilitating the effective allocation of capital, development of business plans and coordination of business performance interventions to ensure a consistent delivery between strategic aspirations, operational forecasts and delivered outcomes. Furthermore, you will be responsible for value creation through mergers and acquisition-led deals, commercial negotiations and integration of business opportunities.
Transformation – driving digital transformation (centralising, digitising, optimising) across all elements of the finance entity to achieve sector-leading cost-performance.
If you are selected for a position in the United States, your employment will be contingent upon submission to and successful completion of a post-offer/pre-placement drug test(and alcohol screening/medical examination if required by the role) as well as pre-placement verification of the information and qualifications provided during the selection process. The drug screen requires a hair test for which BP must be able to obtain a sufficient hair sample for analysis (~4 cm/1 ½” scalp, or > 2 cm/¾” body – arms & armpits/legs/chest)
