A modern financial services company is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team in Brea, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in public accounting including preparation of financial statements. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of income tax returns. Responsibilities Play an integral role in the growth of the tax team Represent both individuals and companies Deliver top-notch accounting and tax expertise Create relationships with clients Accurate preparation of business and individual income tax returns Preparation of clients financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliation of general ledgers Conduct meetings in-person, by phone and email with clients Qualifications 2 years of public accounting including preparation of financial statements 2 years’ experience in preparing business and individual income tax returns (1120 C&S, 1065, 1040 & 1041) Working knowledge of tax code and tax regulations CPA or enrolled agent license in good standing Bachelor’s degree in accounting required #LI-POST #LI-ONSITE #INDCA #ZREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
