A well-established non-profit operating out of Los Angeles, CA is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. This non-profit has a deep mission in providing quality housing, education, and other family-based services in Los Angeles. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Director of Finance and the main responsibility will be supervising and training the accounting department. This position will start onsite with the potential to go hybrid after a few months. The ideal candidate will have 4

Day to day duties:
Supervising the accounting department
Provide training to the accounting department
Performing reconciliations and ensuring accuracy
Assisting the Director of Finance with various financial tasks
Performing month-end and year-end closes
Reporting to the board on finances quarterly
Overseeing expense management for the company
Qualifications
4
years of experience in general accounting required
Experience with the non-profit industry required
Bachelor’s degree required
Proficient in Excel
Experience with Sage MIP is a plus
