Provide support for North America Regional (NA) Finance operations as Manager of a newly developed and growing Shared Services team. This position is an integral part of the finance team and functions as a shared service under the guidance of NAMR Finance Management. The focus of this role will be primarily in continued centralization and digitalization initiatives as well as the management and direction of our Transactional Services initiative.
Innovation and Centralization
The Finance Manager will assist management in ramping up our shared service model to continue adding new services to the center. The individual in this role will work with management in evaluating new opportunities for centralization and will manage projects that take advantage of economies of scale and digital production, thereby efficiently and effectively adding to the Shared Service model.
As new opportunities for centralization arise, this role will evaluate existing processes throughout NA Finance to identify opportunities to gain efficiencies using digital tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA, UiPath), Tableau and Alteryx and will oversee projects to implement identified improvement opportunities. Working with multiple stakeholders across the Finance Shared Services organization, the Finance Manager will effectuate the digitalization of key finance activities and processes within the group.
Transactional Services
The Transactional Services Team of the Shared Services group is responsible for maintaining the Time and Billing system for each of the local offices, including employee records (new hires, promotions, terms and all other) and liaising with affiliate office finance leadership to track and monitor capacity changes to ensure that all employee files are being maintained properly. The team also processes time and expense corrections where needed based on guidance from local finance and the Expense Hub. The Finance Manager will grow to be a subject matter expert on the Infor system, timesheet protocols and policies to provide guidance to the team and ensure the activity is processed accurately and efficiently. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for providing leadership and support for the team and Team Lead, managing internal controls and reconciliations of all employee transactions, and the compilation and communication of reporting to management. The Finance Manager will be responsible for any ad-hoc analysis and reporting as necessary.
Basic Job Requirements:
B.A./B.S. degree in accounting / finance with 7-10 years of business experience required, MBA preferred
5 years of experience supervising others with a proven ability of assisting others to develop and grow professionally
Strong project management experience and skillset
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel
Advanced knowledge and experience with digital tools such as UiPath, Tableau and/or Alteryx preferred
Ability to work varied hours to complete projects and tasks according to deadlines

As a member of the NAMR Finance Shared Services group, you will work closely with regional Finance teams as well as Finance teams in BCG locations across the US and Canada, participating in the delivery of reliable services to support business needs.
