Job Description
The Associate Director, Fiscal & Grant Administration is responsible for managing a team of Fiscal & Grant Administrators within the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences Service Center. The team is responsible for research grant administration and fiscal management of research funds for twenty-two departments. The Associate Director is responsible for setting clear priorities and goals and establishing practices and procedures. They also provide advice and guidance to faculty and staff regarding research policies and regulations to insure compliance.
The Associate Director also manages a portfolio of Principal Investigators providing pre and post-award support including budgeting, procurement requests, personnel matters, financial reporting and forecasting.
The Associate Director works closely with the Director of the Service Center and is a liaison to other research departments within the university including: the Office of Sponsored Programs, Human Resources, and Procurement.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $88,300 to $110,400; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
A Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent, MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years professional experience in grant management and federal regulations
Proven competence in developing budgets, forecasts and cost projections
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience required
