Job Description:
· Track and monitor implementation of government agencies’ Certified Fiscal Plan and Certified Budget, the completion of important milestones, and deadline compliance.
· Develop practical recommendations and contribute to discussions on implications of analysis; identifying implementation and budgetary challenges, and additional measures required.
· Track liquidity and other metrics, handle complex analyses and prepare communications to report back to Executive Director and the Board.
· Mentor and assist staff in the implementation of all key operational and financial measures in accordance with the Certified Fiscal Plan.
· Monitor developments and advise management once implementation occurs or if delays are expected.
· Develop and review, as necessary, revisions to the Fiscal Plan with the support of advisors.
· Develop and review the annual budget process to ensure consistency with the Certified Fiscal Plan.
· Work with the communications team to ensure key messages are shared with stakeholders and the public in general
· Communicate with Director about important milestones and policy decisions required.
· Meet with advisors for implementation of projects related to the Certified Fiscal Plan.
Qualifications:
· Multi-year experience working with the higher education sector preferred.
· Must be able to apply problem-solving and experience-based judgement to complex challenges by focusing on the critical issues and constraints that affect business performance.
· Must be skilled with financial monitoring and comfortable with analysis of financial statements
· Must demonstrate leadership, integrity, a sharp analytical mind, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure and at a very fast-speed with people across all levels in an organization.
· Should possess strong writing, editing, and leadership skills.
· Mastery of written and oral Spanish and English are required.
· Analytical and financial planning skills necessary.
· Outcome and goal oriented.
· Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
· Supervisory experience.
· CPA is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
