Job Description
Blink is seeking a Senior Manager for the FP&A team. This hands-on and high profile position requires partnership with multiple executive and peer stakeholders as well as very strong analytical and communication skills. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Finance & Analytics, this high impact position requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, planning and analysis, financial modeling, as well as the ability to conduct and direct analyses related to non-financial areas including Marketing, Operations and HR.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Accounting Team to support the monthly close process, including variance to budget and accrual analysis.
Prepare and manage the preparation of various recurring financial and operational reports including the weekly comparable sales analysis, monthly financial review for senior leadership, and various operational metrics reporting.
Establish partnerships with departmental and executive leaders and managers to drive financial and business reporting and analyses aimed at influencing business decisions.
Manage the preparation of Blink’s long range plan on an annual basis including frequent interaction with the leadership team to ensure alignment with long-term financial growth and Blink’s strategic plan.
Support the VP of Strategic Finance & Analytics in the execution of various analyses related to Pricing Optimization, Marketing, Operations, Staffing and Real Estate including presentation to departmental leadership.
Direct the company-wide annual budgeting process.
Prepare all reporting, planning and analysis for Blink’s Franchise business.
Collaborate with Marketing team to provide reporting and analysis of the current business performance including sales and net member gain metrics by prototype, age of club, region, etc. and identifying any change in business patterns.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of corporate FP&A experience with exposure to financial reporting, modeling, and budgeting.
Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in modeling and working with large data sets.
A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, accounting, or economics.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data and draw strategic conclusions.
Proactive with the ability to work both independently and cross functionally.
Hyperion Essbase knowledge is a plus.
Retail or multi-unit financial experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively lead discussions with senior management.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
