Professional Background
Binary Defense is looking for a VP of Marketing to quarterback this next phase of growth and transformation providing deep marketing expertise, including brand management, digital customer experience, creative, thought leadership, demand generation, channel management, analytics, product marketing, and marketing technology.
The individual will be charged with leading and enhancing a marketing organization and driving revenue in partnership with the sales, channel, and product organizations.
The VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness, and setting current and long-term goals for internal marketing teams / specialties.
You will design, implement, and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.
Our ideal candidate has a proven track-record, Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of projects end-to-end.
Our VP of Marketing will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and will oversee internal Marketing teams / specialties.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department, and manage to a high level budget. Develop and retain strong talent.
Implement best practices and continue to develop and structure a goal-driven marketing team that efficiently executes to current and long-term goals, aligning to the organization’s objectives.
Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives. Help prioritize the various marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly.
Demand Generation
Define and drive productive lead generation activities that resonate with our target market and customers while fueling pipeline growth for the sales and channel organizations.
Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing campaigns and events. Track MQLs not only into the pipeline but through to revenue.
Product and Strategic Marketing
Deeply understand our market, our customer, and potential market segments through research, analysis, and interviews to identify opportunities for growth.
Create and own the customer engagement and marketing strategy for new and existing services and offerings. Develop a compelling offering narrative and value proposition, ensuring the voice of the customer is present in all content.
Brand Development
Be a thought-leader and ambassador, leveraging data insights to enhance Binary Defense’s brand and positioning. Ensure consistent marketing messages across all channels and customer touchpoints.
Support the subject matter experts in telling a compelling story and build and manage relationships with key influencers such as industry analysts and press / media community, along with strategic marketing-sourced vendors.
Marketing Analytics and Operations
Provide consistent reporting and presentations against the marketing team’s objectives for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
Ensure marketing systems infrastructure and data provide the right insights to support consistent growth. Monitor and measure all marketing campaigns and optimize their effectiveness, when needed.
