- You’ll support the fiscal department’s activities including providing daily supervision and direction to staff, assigning and reviewing work, and evaluating performance.
- You’ll recommend and maintain internal control procedures including fixed asset and depreciation records.
- You’ll help facilitate processes for grants, contracts and budgets and provide budget oversight.
- You’ll perform general ledger and month-end processes and ensure accounts receivable ledgers are set up and maintained.
- You’ll prepare financial statements and reports for Grantors, Directors and the Board of Directors.
- You’ll help prepare for and participate in audits and program monitoring visits.
- You’ll assist with and oversee payroll and work to ensure earning, benefit and deduction reports are prepared, accurate and submitted in a timely manner
- You’ll need a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent, and three or more years of related work experience.
- Education and/or work experience should include working knowledge of fund accounting, budgeting, cost allocation, contracting for services, and reporting for multiple programs being operated under diverse and complex rules and regulations.
- You’ll need proven supervisory experience working with staff involved in diverse and varied areas of accounting.
