Position Overview
BibliU is seeking a detail-oriented US Marketing Events Coordinator to support the US Growth Marketer and Growth Marketing Manager in event planning and execution. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a desire to learn and take initiative when needed.
As the US Marketing Events Coordinator, you will be working in a fast-paced EdTech startup with a driven team that wants to challenge the status quo and provide affordable, equitable learning to all students. You will be provided the proper training and support you need in order to succeed in this role. This is an initially 12 month contract opportunity with flexible business working hours and remote work arrangements.
What you will be doing
Support the US Growth Marketer and Growth Marketing Manager with in-person and virtual event planning
Day-to-day coordination of events which includes ordering & shipping exhibiting materials, coordinating travel, booking reservations, securing company attendees, monitoring registrations, tracking RSVPs, etc.
Maintain marketing event calendars to ensure information is up-to-date and activities are executed in a timely manner
Research potential partner organizations and event sponsorship/speaking opportunities
Develop event-specific content and/or work with freelance designer to produce relevant materials
Format and upload post-event attendee lists via Hubspot with key attribution information (lead source, lead source details, campaign ID, etc.)
Lead Sales team event briefings, as needed
Set-up workflows in Hubspot to facilitate automation for event invites, follow-up, gifting, etc.
Conduct basic Hubspot reporting for evaluating event ROI and campaign efficiency
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
1+ years of marketing experience
Strong attention to detail
Experience with Google suite of applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Canva design experience preferred
Hubspot experience preferred
1+ years of database management experience
Basic HTML knowledge
Knowledge of additional marketing tools is a plus
